Blimey – they made a movie about a pub crawl

Thanks to the lovely Ivan of Snipperoo for this great cinematic experience

Thanks Anonymous (why don’t people just leave their name).

Few observations on your thoughtful post.
– Most bloggers don’t do it to make money. Some of us are already rich 🙂

– “Its all completely insignificant”, I presume you mean life etc. As for blogging, I don’t know who is making a case for it being more significant, other than it is enabling a greater body of people to have an accessible medium for voicing their opinions and news. An opinion may be shown to lack logic or be deficient in some other way, but to dismiss anyone as being insignificant without hearing their view/opinion strikes me as crazy or plain intolerant.

– Finally, this was a video about a pub crawl that happened to have people in it some of whom blog. It wasn’t a conference or attempt to claim some moral high ground – just a fun afternoon of drinking with amiable and intelligent folk, that mostly had interesting things to say. In the scheme of things, my 5 year old daughter’s school nativity play is equally insignificant, apart from to family and friends who will derive pleasure from it.

Consequently I’m not really sure what irked you. But as for the making money – you’ll be delighted to know that 2 new collaboratives ventures span out of conversations that took place that afternoon. Yippee, I may get even richer!

In a cosmic, philosophical way…

…who cares?

How do all these Bloggers make money? When are they going to realise it’s all competely insignificant.
